How about an Infiniti Legacy Forum and naming the models in the subtitle?

Seems to be the attitude corporate has. I imagine at some later time it may be beneficial to break out the new M35/45 if it is a sales success as those type of owners are concerned with modifications to new cars rather than how to make orphaned legacy models last.

Could we move the Infiniti General and G35 forums up to the top of car specific to make them a little easier to find? Please

No we can't because the other Car Specific stuff at the top are categories, which can't go below forums according to the ZeroForum code.

Thanks! But, I do note that it is a bit broken. The various "Technical Forums" links go to the wrong forums - the forum numbers in the links are wrong.

Z

I hate to have to scroll down, to get to Infiniti General. For the forum having nearly the most posts, it ought to be nearer to the the top of the list.

Maybe NICO could sort the forums by posts, then each forum could compete for the top honors.

What do you think?

Well Jeff the problem is that, until you get to "Murano & FX35/45" all the previous forums are really categories. If you click on them, they take you to more forums. According to the ZeroForum code, a forum cannot appear above a category. So, we could move Infiniti General above "Murano..." but that would only slighty reduce your scrolling and not eliminate it.

The good news however is that, if you begin to use the NICO menu sidebar, we will have that appear higher within about a month or so. That way you would need to scroll to get to Infiniti General.

1. I assume you meant "would not need to scroll".

2. How about a personal list where each user can create/edit a list of forums that are their "favorites" and it shows above everything else? Yay!

At least in the old section, you could subscribe to forums so that you could go into your USER CP and it would only list the forums you care about... Dont know if ZF has this......

We do have this feature...

If you go into INFINITI GENERAL, there is a thing at the top that says SUBSCRIBE... Then in your USER CP, bottom left option is to view forum subscriptions.....

Oh!

I guess I meant a feature to change the "NICO Menu" on the right to show only my "selected" forums - I got the impression that I could subscribe to certain forums and only show those.

Sorry about my confused misinterpretation!

Hmmm ... looks like the View Forum Subscriptions in the User CP stuff is pretty useless for what I was expecting. There is no way to click on the items in the list to get to the forum. All you can do is "remove" them ... oh, well!

Z,

I'll be honest, I will talk to the RelyNet team about the possibility of implementing this feature, but it won't be very high on our priority list at this time as we still have some major things we are working on.

I can appreciate that you guys are up to your b*** in alligators right now with all the stuff you are working on! Please take my comments with the appropriate low level of priority for sure - it is not critical stuff at all!

Regards,

Z
