LOL. I agree, It's actually a perfect storm of stench. The landfills have certainly contributed a lot. So did the old pig farms (no longer there now). They helped create Secaucus' pungent reputation. Then add in the swamp which is enormous and contains many illegal dumps throughout, with literally tons of seagull/pigeon poop, discarded bodies the polluted waterways, yes, being so close the the refineries/chemical plants in Elizabeth/Linden that are occasionally upwind, then toss in the exhaust emissions from having one of the most heavily travelled roads in the US cut thru it (NJ Turnpike), then add in the stink of having the NY Jets play nearby in E. Rutherford (j/k on that last one
