I'm wondering if anyone knows of purpose-built parts out there for the z32 that can be used to increase steering angle.

I found a post in a drift build where a guy modified some knuckles and rack bushes designed for a s14 in order to do this, but was just wondering if something exists that doesn't need modification. So far I haven't found anything, but I'm kind of new to the game.

I don't know of any purpose built parts for our cars but I do know that people use other parts from other chassis to increase steering angle on our cars.

That guy Edgar (AKA "Articdragon") drifts his Z. I'm not sure if you have ever heard of him but I think he may also did some modifying to the knuckles...

May want to shoot him a PM if he doesn't post in this thread. :bigthumb:

Where's ArcticDragon at? I believe he also did some modification like this in a 2+2.

*Edit* didn't read your post, Mark, LOL..

And Melissa Miller who rocks a z32 drift car 'might' have modified the steering angle on her z. Not sure at all. I'll ask her for you, I have her as a friend on FB.

- Melissa told me she used a steering rack spacer and shaved bump stops. Room for improvement to be had by modifying the spindles too.

Would that result in anything close to that link I posted in the original post? His wheel turn is absolutely insane.

I'm sure it would. Plenty of people seem to be in agreement that the steering rack spacer and the shaving of the bumpp stops seems to be our only option at this point. I hope in the future, someone will debut a product strictly for this purpose.

I'm thinking that adjustable tie rods and spacers would work as well. Just dont know if we have anything available for z32's for that purpose.

I'll post up ArcticDragon's suspension list, minus a few things that are unrelated:

- Powertrix Ultra-Lite coilovers
- Powertrix front upper control arms
- Peak performance tension rods
- Peak performance toe rods
- SPL outer tie rod ends
- Tein 350z inner tie rod endsp

Should be good enough to get you started. Hopefully he chimes in at some point.
