I don't think I've ever been off the strip, except maybe a block over (where the convention center is, and also Hardrock? Or was it Planet Hollywood...can't remember).

Heck, I don't even know where the freeway is in comparison to the strip....I've never driven there. Always flown in.

Yeah, most tourists have little need to leave the strip. Since I'm out of Cali, I just make the drive. Plus I make this drive at least a few times each year. Living near Vegas is fun.

Next time you're at IN-N-OUT check the bottom of your burger wrapper, fries container and cup. There's a different bible verse on each of them. Soda cups and shake cups have different ones too.

Random In n Out trivia for you folks... have you looked on the bottom of the cups, and noticed the Bible passage numbers? Like John 3:16, etc?

My dad was going to go to work for In n Out as their CFO. After checking out the company, he decided that their super Christian agenda (financing anti-abortion groups, etc) didn't really fit with his ethics, so he declined the position. A few months later, a plane carrying the In n Out president, CFO and a few other people crashed, killing everyone onboard. If my dad had taken that job, he would have been in that plane. Freaky, eh?

Finally, there is some unwritten rule that if you "forget your money" at the register, they are supposed to give you your food for free. I've seen one of my friends get away with it once. It's failed three other times, so I'm not fully convinced. Yet, I've heard the rumor from completely unrelated people at different times in my life, so there might be a kernal of truth to it.
