Where can I find the In Cabin Air Filters for sale? And does anyone have an idea on how to remove the glovebox? I called Infiniti, and the guy said it was behind the glovebox, but I couldn't see any other screws beside the two on the top front which did nothing to even loosen the glove compartment up.

Thanks

Covered many times here and of course in the FSM.

For filters. Might as well get fuel, air and M1 oil while you are at it.

Should I get the Mobil one filter? I was gonna get the OEM Nissan one since many people reccomend sticking with OEMs, and yes I was going to get the OEM Air Filter as well

I still don't see the cabin filter there though

Call them. I prefer the M1 filter to the OEM thimble. Many other brands (Fram) don't measure up. OEM is probably fine, but Joe has a killer price on the M1.

I snatched my horrible K&N air filter out lastweek and purchased the AC Delco air filter. I've seen studies where this air filter out performed leading air filters. As far as oil filters, I purchase SuperTech oil filters. By far the best bang for the buck...as we all know.

Joe has good prices on items, but sometimes the shipping negates the offer. It's best to order multiple items from him. I'm about to purchase an OEM strut mount from him for $40

As far as cabin air filter, I'm quite sure you can purchase from him for a good price. Also if you search the site, there is a great post write-up of how to take out the cabin air filter on our models...heck this is something that I have to purchase myself.

This is from NICO member loystock of how to replace cabin air filter for our cars.

Here's one of earlier postings re Cabin Air Filter.I just tackled replacing the cabin micro filter on my 99 Q45. It was easier than I thought it would be. And thanks to infinititech1 on his post "replacing a/c micro filter-g35" (zerothread/199424) I got some good tips. Remove the panel (includes the trim piece) under the glove box. To do so, place your fingers in the holes in the panel and pull forward. It comes off fairly easily. It may be helpful to disconnect the floor light and other electrical connector, and then remove the panel from the car so the glove box has somewhere to rest. Remove the 3 screws under the glove box, and 4 screws found inside the glove box at the top. Pull gently and the glove box comes out. Let it rest on the floor as much as possible. There is no need to disconnect the wires (however I did initially because I wasn't sure where the filters were located). Just to the left of center will be found two vertical plastic pieces that almost look like a split ruler. (open your new micro filters and take a look at the end of them and you will recognize the ones currently installed in your vehicle). Remove the clip on the lower filter and pull to remove. The upper filter pretty much falls out. Install the new filters and glove box/panel in reverse order. Voila!
