Will Not Be Federally Legal Until It's 25+ Years Old.

I've seen a place in San Diego that was selling an S15 but it was for off-road use only. I'm trying to get my cousin's dealership to import a couple over, but it will probably have to be for off-road as well. I'll keep you posted if it happens.

I just saw an S15 a few weeks ago at a shopping plaze. It was legit, but registered in Flordida haha. So yes people have them on the streets. Do your homework if you're serious about getting one.

In Ontario we were just recently allowed to start importing R33s and S14s. A few years off till you'll see many S15s.

The only way I've seen them imported legally is through http://www.kaizoindustries.com/uni/

The unibody alone is like $20k though so good luck with that, oh yeah, next time use that big flashing search on top of your page. I've seen this topic covered too many times for the few months I've been here.

That is true but the company I posted up there actually re-manufactures them so they are legal and aren't considered a Nissan Silvia/Skyline. They give them a new VIN and everything needed to be legal. I've spoken with them personally and they have actually had customers get there car impounded due to the drivers fault and the car was returned to the drivers after all fines and s*** were paid.

But to the OP, don't waste your money. I highly doubt your rich and your probably just asking this question out of curiosity.

What Does Everything Entitle? New VIN?

If They Are Replacing The VIN With Another Know Nissan, That's Also VERY Illegal.

No they don't replace it with another VIN, they give it they're own VIN because they are considered car manufactures. Along with a new VIN, they replace everything needed to meet DOT standards.

I think I would rather take the manufactures word over a few people rambling over the internet.

Stick to your fast Turbo Camry, it'll outrun any S series or R series on the planet.
