Is there any simple way to resize an embeded image via BBcode?

I have a pretty huge update to dump into my build thread, but turns out all my uploaded images are more than 750 pixels wide.

I can re-upload them after resizing if I have to, but that's a boat load of work that I am hoping some coding wizardry can make that unneeded. There has to be a least one or 2 BBcode wizards hanging around here these days.

Come on, I know everyone is chomping at the bit to see pictures of my used and abused 28 year old sport compact. This is serious business.

"Up the Chain".

A little birdie told me you were in charge these days and Greg is just a figurehead. :gapteeth:

No way. Greg still runs the check book.
The 750 pixel width apparently has been an issue for a little while now and is on the list to be fixed, but I wouldn't expect it to happen tonight or anything.

Well, he runs a lot more than that...
And truth be told, I think Becky is the keeper of the check book haha

Well, I resized the first batch of pictures, and boy does it look like 2009 all over again. Sometimes I forget how much free image hosting services trash image quality.

Yeah you're not kidding. Your pics look pretty good though. I've seen much worse.

Ok, it should be fixed now. Give it a shot and let me know if you run into issues.

Awesome.

Is there still a higher Limit? Will the sight auto resize?

I won't have time to play with it till later this evening, but I'll give it a go.

Thanks y'all

Not sure really. I was just told it was fixed haha. There shouldn't be an upper size limit, but I'm not sure about the auto resize.

Full res posted fine, and It auto resized on both my laptop and my phone to what I'd consider "ideal" size based on post box width. Perfect.

What say we run a little test of server integrity, not to mention my "pert near Canada" DSL connection?
