My 240sx 93 digital display and odometer won't work when engine cold. It may last for 20 minutes or more depending on outside temperature. It's pretty problematic at night. If you think this is the capacitor, where is this component located? Inside the HUD module or outside?

thanks for helping

Above picture won't work. You need 1:1 scale template. I emailed PDF to Eikon, but he didn't respond. I'll find a way and post PDF here, so you can print out and use.

So yea I cut my dash today.. I thought I f*cked it up but all is good that Template was off by just a little but you can eye ball it. I took the hud dash out of my coupe and took the hud off and test fitted it a few times. I was off with the cutting but not horrible. Still looks good.

First I taped the template on then marked with a black marker where to cut. Then with a razor I cut very carefully, then pulled the skin of the area off. Then I took a 1 1/2 inch drill bit and made a holeThen I used a hack saw blade (just the blade) and started trimming away.Once I got everything to fit flush I drilled holes for the hud screws.

It wasn't really hard just time consuming. but Thanks 94_240sx.

Now time for the pix.
