Allright, Ive been doing my swap for some time now and I allways come accross new problems.

This weeks problem is the transmission X-Member. I have allways herd that the auto and manual x-member are different on S14s but not on S13s, is this true? My x-memeber doesnt line up with the transmission AT ALL.

Second problem is the ignitor chip.... I have no idea were to place it (remember this is my first time working with an SR).

Another thing too is that my shifter hits the interior trim piece when you put it into reverse.... is that saposed to happen or no?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really need to finish this swap ssometime soon.

-THANKS-

your ignitor chip goes wherever you put it, as long as its out of the way, a lot of people bolt it to the passenger shock tower.

as for the shifter trim, are you using the AT one or the MT one

your ignitor chip is hooked into the harness with the two grey and orange clips. mine didnt hit when i put it in reverse. did you cut off the tube that comes off the elbow of your turbo to clear the steering rack if not that might be getting caught up on somthing.

Actually im using the AT trim piece. I guess your hinting that Im gonna need to use the Manual one.

As for the ignitor chip, I just needed to see what plug plugs into it. Thanks for you help.

Also, the x-member wont fit so I was just thinking of using the one I have and welding a plate off of it that will make the holes in the right spot.

Oh yeah, Im not using the stock turbo setup so that isnt a problem.

Thanks for your help guys.

HA HA HA!!!! allmost done.....

Man I wish. Im making my own turbo mani cause Ive purchased two and neither of them fit. I really didnt want to keep the stock T25 on it so I am putting a Garrette T3/T4 60 trim turbo on it. Neither of the manifolds fit cause the turbo hits the brake master cyl.

I will be done after that though. I still have a couple easy things to do like put in the short shifter, fuel pump, and weld up my intercooler piping.

Ill post some pics when im done for you guys.

Thanks for your help peeps....
