This is a over-looked area also, there is a fuse in the lower right side of your fuse box, it is labled start signal it should be a 10amp, it advances your idle for start up, if that circuit is not complete the car will just turn over and over and won't start

Theres no point in bringing you're car to a shop. I guarantee you that they're going to charge you about $500. Theres more than enough information on these forums and google to get your car moving. IMO, think simple. You're obviously missing something, instead of beating the s*** out of you're car then be patient and go through the whole thing again. Check every basic thing it takes to get a motor to run and then go from there, I don't care if you already did, do it again.

$500? That is 5-6 hours of labor in expensive shops... I was thinking $200 bucks or so. Regardless, I agree that it could be a few hundred bucks.

I think the question that ZOMG needs to ask himself is, "Am I smarter than an SR20?"

THis sounds like a timing issue to me...

Have you opened the valve cover to check that your chain has not skipped?

Make sure the marks on the chain line up with the marks of the cam sprockets.

Just an idea.
