it's crazy how many times after a few years i end up on this site lol... well i can tell you right now that the 2nd 240sx didnt last long as i had to go to school...bummer however i think it's better, since then i now have aton of auto body and mechanical background plus i am now a full time painter and body man for the military. and my bank roll is WAY nicer to me now lol, so here is where we start again. this next friday i will be driving to greenbay to pick up my 1989 20sx HB for a grim $500.00 lol! the project as it stands will get the sr20det, it will have the drifter s15 conversion (i know most you hate this conversion but it's a good thing it's my car and not yours) plus i happen to run across some nice s15 taillights and i have made a fiberglass mold to replicate the wicked s15 rear quarter panels (this way i can make the bodylines match up so the car dosnt look so mismatch with round on boxy) got some nice nismo 5 spokes at 17' with a bad a** bronze nickle plating, i also just got done rebuilding a garret t3/t4 at work because i was bored!and for anyone about to bash the taillight thing dont bother i know it's a pain in the rump to do but im lucky enough to have a cool boss and 4 metal workers on hand so i dont have to cut and paste i can make my own tail light/trunk rear support i will post on this topic as i go along including pictures.feel free to throw your 2 cents in or suggestions, since it was your suggestions that car my last car done go nico

haha! Just remember those rear fenders is going to need some work.

I envy you though for the turbo

I wouldn't mind running boosted at the same time as S15 converision

well i did clean it, however i have guys at work that rebuild turbos for a living, so they cleaned, rebalanced and re sealed everything, even nice enough to repack the bearings, i did however have to soak the compressor side housing in an aluminum acid to remove the oxide and then polished it by hand with 1200 grit sand, never dull and some mothers mag an aluminum polish. and as for the posts i prefer to do more reading than typing. i learn more

Congrats man! Can't wait for some progress!

Question, Why a S13 HB and not a S14 to do the body mods on? I personally think it would look better on a s14 cause S14 and s15 bodies are very similar.
