quick question I got a 95se s14 shell like a year ago for $900. Now the motor swap is done and now I have to completely reasemble a s14. Btw this is my first one and I lost my damn service manual.

So here is the queston wtf are these 2 boxes for?I know at least one go's under the dash. Thanks

Im thinking one controls the auto trans but I swaped in a rb25. So I souldnt need it if thats what one of them is.

Yeah thats the ecu and the other looks like the auto trans comp. You can tell the ecu because the screw secured the harness

or maybe 1 is the abs module

I believe the one on the left is the TCU.

ABS module is in the trunk on the drivers side

under the dash on the drivers side is the Automatic Transmission control unit and the Keyless entry/alarm module. Most likely that's what you're looking at.

The one with the black box on the side that says "SC" I would say I'm 95% sure is the A/T control unit...

the keyless entry module sits right next to it under the dash on the driver side, this I know for a fact (I was just screwing around with mine a few days ago)

other possible modules include the cruise control module which is behind the glove box (above the ECU), or the Air Bag control unit which is either under the armrest in the center console or under the passengers seat...

I'm fairly certain that it's the keyless entry module though.

Thanks guys, I found my service man. The ATC is the one on the left and the right is the door lock thing.

The issue was I bought the car with 80% of it in pieces, and its was my first 240.
