This sounds interesting - I have a 2.2 liter MR2 (1991non-turbo version) and it has some of the characteristics of the KA motor, as in lots of torque down below and falling off its face after 5000RPM. The MR2 has a 91mm stroke, which is closer to the KA than a Honda engine. I built an intake manifold for it and it helped tremedously and the car rev much better to redline (it actually bounced hard). I also had cams and headwork, but who in their right mind would buy an Intake Manifold as the only enhancement to the engine (performance wise). Here are some links to pictures of said manifold:

I'm not endorsing this or trying to convince anyone to buy the manifold, but I really think that this pseudo-technical conversations about what is "theorically" better are highly argumentative although interesting, but they do distract from the actual topic. This is an argument and a month later will continue to be an argument. If the manifold is built by someone that knows what he's doing, then you're likely to see good results. If anyone feels the need to do the homework, I highly suggest looking into the manifolds already built and see what customers have to say about it. Wasabi Garage builds Supra manifolds, so try to find an actual customer and see what he has to say about the product.

Cheers,Marco
