I must be mistaken then. I heard the ride quality was much worse outside of a track. Vettes are still "poster" cars for me anyways, I'm nowhere near being able to afford one...anti_flag_army wrote:
Exactly, unless having a better performing car is harder to live with...
I slam my shins into the dash on the FD....can't drive it so f*** itcharlieo wrote:
Kidding, right? The NSX and FD are damn near identical in performance characteristics... and both very sexy.
The only way I'd choose an NSX is if I could stuff an LS7 into it like I would an FD.
The LS FD is one of nature's most perfect creations. Better looking than a C5 for similar cost, and lighter to boot.
At 5'8" and 145 lbs the FD was a PERFECT fit for me. I can't even imagine a big guy like you being comfortable in one.Mr1der wrote:

C5s seem to be getting surprisingly cheap, now-a-days. Just came across a guy who bought his C5 ZO6 for 13k... and it only has 31k miles. Completely stock, 6spd, clean title/never wrecked, etc... I was jealous, to say the least.Mr1der wrote:oh yeah...NSX is a supercar...the FD...it um...has a rotary?
as for the C5 + mods...can't argue that either....BUT how much will the price of a used C5 leave of the 30k?

Perhaps. But such people are suckers as they will pay more than they should for a car that's 16 years old where the asking price is nearly the same as it was when new. And this is pretty much the same thing I told my friend before he purchased a 97 Supra TT for more than $30K (I wanna say like $34K). Bearing in mind that this is his 3rd Supra. He sold the prior two for a profit. Though he squandered it when he overpaid for this one. The second one was actually a really good deal as it was well below market price and had very low mileage. The seller had like 20 calls offering more money while were sitting there signing the papers. So yeah, there could be buyers. But it doesn't make them any less stupid or the car actually worth that much...DrifterXRPS13 wrote:it's def a nice car...it's worth 30k to someone who's always wanted that car with those mods...never know.
wtf is with you? make some sense, would ya?joe_yoh wrote:I rather look for other brand, not that. lol
