ish, if that were truely the case, do you really think they'd spend all the time and money doing an s14 kouki conversion and installing a body kit?ishkabibble wrote:Because a VQ car is meant to be driven rather than sitting in an IKEA parking lot with its hood up.
Can't wait to see Vader's Vert in action!110octane wrote:Video to come....taking the car to drift day in February for some sideways action!
nope, not at all. it is obvious, though, that style and looks matter to you. you did use a vert after all.110octane wrote:DeXter; I hope you not implying the car is a show queen. Now that SEMA is behind me and 3 photoshoots the car will be driven and enjoyed as every project car should be. I assure this is no parking lot whore....unless its got cones !
Not surprised, you got the best looking 240sx Vert in the world right now. I can promise you I haven´t seen anything better in Japan or USA.110octane wrote:Great news everyone!
I got a call this week from the editor of Import Tuner magazine. They have asked to shoot the car for the COVER of an upcoming issue! Not sure if this is a first for a 240 vert or not?
This is a total dream come true for me as I have always built cars for myself and not to impress anyone. Hence the black paint. Not that it isn't nice but I was temped to do another color but have always loved black cars and it fits the whole VIP feel. Everyone knows...if you want to get a cover or feature, don't paint your car black! Oh well, I guess this will be the exception to the rule?
On a side note, while I have the car out today I will be trying to get a few moving shots as well as the video and sound so you guys can get a taste of what the car is really about.
I'll let you guys know how it goes!
Again, thanks for all the great feedback.
OMG YOU ARE THE MAN!110octane wrote:Great news everyone!

Lovin the photoshops.
WOW!!! Congratulations my friend! Well done. I'm proud for you and for all of us... it's great to see more attention given to the 240 'vert. We gotta figure out how to get a NICOclub or 240sxconvertible.com sticker onto your car somewhere so that it will show up in the photoshoot.110octane wrote:Great news everyone!

I agree, keep it black! It's so sexy...Eikon wrote:I'd keep the car black by the way. You said you build the car for you... keep it that way! Don't change it because you think it will impress the car mag. You got this car to this point by building it for you.. stay true to that!
