looks like those rear wheels/tires make the rear aero useless.

i think chrome wheels are nice for a car like that, but possibly a different style.

Just checked out Feb issue of Modified Mag during lunch time and this car was on page 40. It's picture #2 and says:

'2. Kouki converted S13 convertible = hotness'

I'm not normally a fan of s13.4's but I like the headlights on that vert. The front bumper is a bit too flashy for me - personally I think it would look better with stock bodywork.

I'd like to see a pattern of horizontal aluminum bars in the front of that bumper... Intercoolers look so nice!!!

Any plans on a SC or Turbo in the future for that VQ? Not that you are lacking the hp... but we always want more!!

Still waiting for that video as well...

Talk to Drew w/Raretrick. It's $248. I don't know how it mounts. Maybe 110 can answer this.

I love the Kouki front, but has any one done a Zenki or in the process of making one?

Anyone who does a Zenki conversion on a vert is dead to me.

Anyhow, I appreciate the love! I will try to have a video posted so that you guys can hear what a mildly muffled straight piped NA VQ sounds like coming out of an S13. Definetly my favorite feature of the car!
i would like to see pics of the motor if possible......

The exhaust was custom made if i remember right, it is fashioned after the VIP Style mufflers that are the standard on big sedans in JPN

Nice looking install on a pretty complex swap.

I'd love to see that VQ up against the best CA18DET on the vert forum.

Wonder if 110 has traction problems at launch with all that torque at low rpms.

Dart Izumi looks pretty close to that one.

That's what I thought it was until I saw the muffler. The Dart's gotta be insanely loud, so 110's setup is probably much better.

I want to see a video! That car is like the total dream of what my car will look like minus the wheels. I am planning on some Garson Deep Racing.

SIGH....

why does the vq intake manifold have to look soo butt-ugly? the shape of that thing just makes my eyes hurt.

props on the swap nonetheless. i love this car.

SIGH....

we need a leg-humper icon.

Because a VQ car is meant to be driven rather than sitting in an IKEA parking lot with its hood up.

Why IKEA???? Where did that come from?

Anyway, battery should have moved to the trunk. VQ looks heavy in vert engine bay, but everything's well arranged in such a tight area. Agree with DeXter on intake manifold. It's odd looking...

The tuners around here hold impromptu "meets" in the IKEA parking lot.
