The engine idles fine and drives great until I'm trying to accelerate past 4k rpm, it kinda just acts rough and doesn't accelerate anymore until I shift gears then it does the same thing. Anyone know what causes this? It just happened yesterday.

use your search button, it could be any of the following

FPR, MAFS, coils, plugs, injectors, TPS, boost leak, vacuum leak, dead turbo.

how would i know if it was a dead turbo? I can see on my boost gauge that it is boosting fine like always. Also would the gauge act up if it were a boost leak?

Also I checked the ECU and got a 55.

The MAF is working fine.

If it were a vacuum leak, wouldnt it idleing rough too? Also when I am reving it in neutral it acts fine, it is only while driving this is happening. Anymore suggestions would be appreciated. I'm gonna go check the plugs now.

I just figured out that after I get to that bogging point in the rpms, if I shift up and gain a little speed then shift back down I can accelerate like normal in that gear, but I stil can't figure out why its bucks and won't accel all the way through...

thats a very interesting problem, try checking your fuel pressure. Just a random thought, does your speedo work properly? It sounds almost like your speed limiter is engages.
