got my b&m shifter today and just having it bolted into the transmission all i can say is WOW. compared to stock and my CS short shifter i have it is really solid no wobbly side to side when in gear and the throw is so much shorter. cant wait ti drive the car with it yet.

Yo Ben!It's been a while man. Glad to see some progress. And it's also nice to see you and Jeff still whoring it up lol

I'm picking up a spare s14 sr block this week, Can you say sleeved SR21DET?

Any who. I'm still deciding between a 3071 or 3567.

lol i am back only in this thread and fs threads. if your sleeving a block why not go all the way to 2.2 liters. and take the middle turbo gt3076r. i am going with the mazworx kit now i believe.

well quick. i havea bunch of pics but i cant find my cable but as soon as i do i will up load them. the pistons and crank are all bolted in for good now. everything turns freely and smoothly. boy is it sexy.

instead of shaving the stud i am dremeling the oil pan. all i go to do now is get my head back from the machine shop bolt it on and but the accessories and small stuff on.

trying to meet my goal of xmas to have the stuff in the car

Kangaroo power!

Why not use an adjustable wrench or something instead of using locking pliers?

well small update. i got some parts coming.

HG and other important gasketssix puck sprung act clutch instead of unsprung this time.

lol alex (phase2) kinda cracked me up today. i called to order my parts and when i said i needed a 90mm hg he was like "you know thats not the right size" i was like "no it is"he said "for a stock block you want a stock hg size"and i replyed "yeah but i dont have a stock block i have a 90mm darton sleeved Mazworx block."lol then i got a big "AWWWWWW we dont get many of these ordered."he said mostly cause the cost of getting there is to much for the common joe unless its a shop owned car. and i was like yeah i got a good deal so i went as big as i could.

made me feel kinda special.lol

yep the sr does come stock with a girdle. when nissans engineers designed the motor they built it for sound resonance. meaning its a long skirt closed deck witha girdle. this is to keep done on vibrating and actually gives the motor a deeper tone.

my cosworth 90mm 1.1 hgparts that came from phase 2. ss turbo lines. and gaskets. the apexi plate frame wasa bonus.my act heavy duty sprung clutch instead of unsprung this time. powder coated stuff. how many people do you know that get to powder coat their t bolt clamps. did my hks bov and hot pipe and turbo inlets and out lets and throttle cable bracket.going to powder coat my compressor housing black too. and intake piping.

bonus for getting to work at a place that powder coats

Theee powdercoated parts look great man. Probably a hell of a lot more durable than paint.

Good to see u picked a good head gasket, specially because it can now be put together

People get cometic and cosworth mixed up. From what I've heard cometic is the one you wanna stay away from. Always heard good things about cosworth.
