i got 275s on there right now lol. but that is on a 9 inch wheel witha +15 ofset. they stick out 2 inches past the fender. so i need ot do flares and cut the fender so i can drop the car and run more camber. or i need to doa huge pull. i am looking into doing the pull first and seeing how it turns out.

I'm hoping 245/40's will work with no pull with 17x9 +17...that's almost an inch in width difference...

Didn't you say you were goin with 235s? Or was that a joke?

I just don't wanna see you hack up yer fenders if ya don't need to.

^ lol i have 275s o nthe back right now. i want to have my suspension set a little softer but i cant really have it set soft because it will rub all the time. but i might just drop the pre load or soemthing. i wantot do flars i think. so i can cut the fenders out....

or i will jsut deal with it. and i know i can fit 235s with some camber back there.

245/40 sould fit. maybe lol. if you roll the fender lip. and run soem camber

Yah, I'll prolly run ~2* negative camber.

Adrian in the wheel/tire forum said I would need to flaten out the inner fender up front...hopefully I'll get away with just that..

Definitely take pics of your cutting layout of the rear quarters if you do go widebody/overfender. I think that would help alot of people decide if they really wanted to do that or not(namely me ).

Thx for the link on the overfenders...I've actually considered doing that to my 72 years ago...a project of the past now I guess...

Yah, I know what seam your talking about on the fenderwell firewall...I guess I'll go 245's all around anyways. I'll just have to rent the roller or buy my own.

Unfortunately I had a "reputable" body shop take out the dings on the driver side of the car. Paid way too much($1000) for a skim coat of body filler and a repaint or the entire drivers side. Oh wait, I can't say entire drivers side because they didn't touch the A-pillar, which incidently has small chips along the front glass seal...why I have to learn the hard way iono.

And just to twist the knife in my back more, there are sanding scratches down the WHOLE SIDE of the car. Of course they were nice enough to offer to redo it. Especially after a $200 buff job didn't take them out.

For some reason seeing a wrecked lexus sc430, a few benzes, and bimmers there made me think I was gonna get a quality job.

Hindsight's a *****.

Anyways, do you think that body filler will be a problem while putting a slight roll on the fenders?

the cracking filler isa problem my dad and i are contemplating as well. i dont see any way around having it crak. even if it is heated up. because it is not pliable when it is warm. so i believe that is a chance that you will end up wiht chiping or cracking. that is wh y ihavent painted my car yet. i need ot get this out of the way.

yes as in dark blue. today was pretty sicks. i checked my clutch fluid and it was low so i filled it up. and now it is grabbing liek a mofo. hooks up and smokes the tires.

ran into an eclipse that hada t3/t4 50 trim turbo. it was sick externally gated. i am sure if it was tuned good it could haul balls but it has some serious problems. i thinkand my buddy with an sti was hanging out with us too. and then my dad showed up with his mr2 it was pretty sick like our own little car show haha.

i was excited. and let me tell you the z brakes work wonders i locked them uptoday. and smoked the front tires lol. stopped so fast

and i am only running 14psi. and my buddy said it pulled way harder then any sti he had ridden in.

i need ot hard wire the fuel pump still. and figure out why my oil temp gauge quit working. going ot be changing out differentials here too. its sick though even with the open.

i have been able to get it to kick out. and go side ways just cause the car is putting down that much torque and power.

we found out we might be able to get our local landing strip open too fo racing which would be sick.

and after raising hell for a couple hours most of us went home or like me and my buddy parked my car and just walked around. lol haha then this convertible eclipse witha an exhuast showed up and was revvingliek crazy and we thought it was going be funny as hell to have him get a ticket for all the noise we were making earlier.

yes all this in a small *** town with 2800 people. it wasa sweet day. all the guys are cool too. and we respect each others sh*t. we might all caravan up tothe races about an hour away to. it would be bad arse.
