wait a minute, i thought u were against the brake upgrade? didnt you say that he'd be fine with just good pads and functioning stock calipers? (i might be totally wrong though)codyace wrote:I really think you should save your money and get t he 300zx brake setup.....you'll really thank me in the end.
thanks man. that will really help.White Comet wrote:i just remembered i still have teh ecu pinout with where the avcr gets wired in. i'll email that asap
Z32 setups, if getting parts, can be had for only slightly more than q45 setups.idahotuner wrote:you dont think the q45s will be enough? how much do the z32 set ups run. most the tiem i wont be driving really fast just accelerating really fast.
if i was to go like 300 dollars more to like 700 which i think the z32 brakes cost about i would rather get the Fast Brakes USA from JGY it is a 4 piston set up.

ahh got ya. i mistook your previous comment. while i do agree thta z32s are superior i find it hard to believe s13s stock calipers with good pads are as good as q45scodyace wrote:WhiteCOmet: I said stock calipers with good pads to me are just as good as q45 setup. I really think q45 is just a bunch of horsing around just to say 'oh i have different brakes'. To me, 300zx is the standard for a reason.
get some works lol.s14tan wrote:I'm loving the wheels bro, only if they made em in 5 lug.
You're making good progress bro.
Just thought I'd come check up on ya.
They really work the same. A quality pad on the stock etup really works well. Albeit tire choice can also play a large roll too.White Comet wrote:ahh got ya. i mistook your previous comment. while i do agree thta z32s are superior i find it hard to believe s13s stock calipers with good pads are as good as q45s
I can get a seal kit, and believe I can get those shoes. Shoot me an email [email protected] and we can keep from litering Ben's thread hehe.duffman1278 wrote:Codyace, what about seals for Z32 brakes? Can you get those cause I'm rebuilding mine, also need the ebrake shoes for a Z32.
Certain mang. I just want you to get the bang for buck ya know? No use in half-finishing a good build.idahotuner wrote:well i sen you and email cody. be sweet if we can work something out. cause I would rather have z32 brakes if i can get them for about the same cost.
we will wire them in some time. should be pretty easy i think. i dont have a wire diagram. i am excited for the lights too. took 3 days for them to get here from malaysia.how is that for fast shipping.codyace wrote:PS: Love the halogen/brick style lights. By far my fave. I know this may sound noobish of me, but would you happen to have a wire diagram of them? Local kid has them in his car, and the previous owner....well lets say he was a fan of wirenuts and speaker wire....I'd really like to fix that up for him ya know?!?
you must be jokingidahotuner wrote:my dad wants to do a pull or flares i think. we all ready did a roll. i want to leave it just sticking out for a hot rod look.
