I would like to live in my 96' Infiniti without CEL.

Hi guys.I got CEL again... huh...The car was scaned at AutoZone.The code told me front O2 sensors and Knock sensor.It cost almost $400. Is what replace the parts only way to get rid of CEL?Do the sensors make hard to start engine because the car has started hard once a day(or twice)?Help me...Thanks

There are directions to replace the knock sensor in the FAQ at the top of the forum. You can buy an OEM knock sensor from Pinnacle for $129.50 http://www.trademotion.com/par...l=I30

Since the knock sensor controls engine timing, it can cause various problems with the engine.

I just replaced the knock sensor on my '96 maxima. Found the part on ebay for $55. Very easy to replace.
