Ok guys Im am Getting close to finishing the Propane Swap on my Rb25. I have a few surprises and I have some sponsored dyno time.

What Is the Absolute Most HP you guys think a Rb will put down with the Stock turbo and ECU?

I want everyone to chime in on this.

I Believe I have came accross a HP solution you guys have never seen and we are going to Prove it works. So I want you guys to throw down some numbers you have seen and heard.

Im hoping my coils live long enough to prove this. But I Believe at 12psi on the STOCK turbo I can make more power than Most all of you on a 15-18PSI Upgraded turbo.

"most power" and "most power without exploding something" are 2 different things.

Not on a stock rb20 turbo with out nitrous. Judging by those numbers, those are from a dyno--that dyno lied. Not even close to possible for a stock RB20 turbo to flow over 400hp at the motor.

I'd guess around low 300's rwhp MAX.

Whoopsy!!! I'm dumb

Still, you aren't going to make over 400hp at the motor with a stock RB25 turbine. I had EVERYTHING bolt on imaginable including full exhaust, stainless manifold, FMIC, intake piping, boost controller, yada yada yada, and with no tune made 285hp. Sure, a tune would have helped out a lot, but not 100+hp.

Low to mid 300's at the wheels<----and the turbo isn't going to last long making that

I made about 313rwhp on my stock turbo at 13psi. With my injectors near maxing out i decided it was probably time to move on from the stock turbo.

The stock turbo on an RB25 is like the lock on its power, the beast has yet to be unleashed.

x2 on that.

BTW, my hp figure was at 0.7 bar (around 9-10psi).

One thing that may greatly effect all this is the fact that RB25drag is going to be using propane, which might make quiet a bit of difference in what kind of power he will be able to make. What kind of ex temps do the propane conversions make?

I wont tell thhe secret yet. but its not nitrous.meangreen: email replied.the goal i am putting together is EVERYONE wants at least 400whp out of there rb. i believe what we have built is going to put the stock motor very very close to that mark without changing anything other than our kit. stock manifolds turbo's etc and do it for 1/4 of the price everyone else is spending on there mods and its gonna make the rb motor itself very very simple. ever tuning.

well everyone around here know im not one to be a dyno queen and this is the first time my car has ever seen the dyno. I have a precision turbo setting in my room that is going on after i prove this point.as for the track im shooting for 6 secs in the 1/8th. i dont have a 1/4 mile track here but i would be shooting for the 9's

mid 6's I assume? I know that a 6.9x 1/8th is usually around a 10.6 in the 1/4....give or take. With that kind of et goal, you better be putting down 450+ and getting out the hole hard too.

actually im shootinf for low 6's like 6.20's-6.40'swith the precision turbo i got settin here i can make up to 620rwhp. so i just gotta hook it. with the crappy 280-320hp i got now im cutting 1.6 60ft's so im hoping to get that down to 1.4's.
