Update is It has dropped 7inches of rain here in the last 24hrs lol, So no more test runs have been made. The car is actually going to be down again for another week or 2. I ordered the Megasquirt today. Hopefully I can elliminate about 50lbs of un-used wiring!!!

So the very little you got to toy with it, how does it feel on propane?

so far it seems really good. it starts and idles like never before. And it revs ALOT quicker than it ever did on gas also.its been a little bit (4months) since i been driving it around. But my butt dyno says it has as much power at 7 psi as it ever did on 12.But i dont have the unit we built on the car hooked up yet either thats going to make up the hp difference i think is going to blow everyones mind. were still trying to get a base tune to compair with.

All the pics you would get right now is the car tore back down

I took the Stock ECU and all the wiring out today, and Made a nice bracket to mount the ls2 coils.

I gotta do some more wiring then gotta fab up the crank trigger bracket, Make some custom plug wires, Build the ecu and make a Harness for it. So I got about 2 more weeks worth of work ahead of me. (note I did not plan on converting to the stand alone so soon But i didnt have much choice)

So the dyno is still delayed, But coming soon.

Ok, so you've made it apparent that you're not making all this power on boost and propane as you've said, "But i dont have the unit we built on the car hooked up yet either thats going to make up the hp difference i think is going to blow everyones mind..." So any clues as to what this power adder is? Maybe compound turbo system? I'm in for the win though!!!

Propane injection was the hot ticket on the turbo regals before alcohol got popular. This isn't new news. You shouldn't need spray or any other fuel adder.

How did you manage to split that coupler with boost? I am thinking you damaged it when you backfired out your intake else it would have failed long ago when you were beating on it with your other setup.

its not propane injected either.I had a similar coupler on the intercooler that i thought got tore on the original setup but i guess they was just bad couplers cause that made 2 i blew out of the same style. on 2 different setups. I got the fix now tho. my new couplers are good for 60psi.

So what are you running? Magical horse urine? I thought this thread was about propane? I didn't say you were using an injection system, what I said was that propane injection has been done on turbo regals.

Time to scrap any of your other couplers like that! Are they the single ply ones?

ahhh I got u. no im not using the injection style propane. Im using the carb style. its all self maintained and runs off vacuum. a really simple setup. WHich was wat i wanted.as for the couplers they were single ply. They was the only singles I had. the rest were double. but I scrapped them all and put fresh ones on.
