You got rid of the AC because you were getting too much attention if I'm not mistaken. You went with the G35 sedan which was pretty good for the problems you were having.

But getting a Maserati is going to attract so much more attention than you would have ever gotten in the AC

I know this isnt your first car but I am assuming the new A/C was. Good for you, however I would have gotten it in red, silver makes that car look hella cheap and run of the mill imo.

hahaha this is why i loved the altima forum.

9,000 miles 04 cambiocorsa and it was dirttttt cheappppppp. im not gonna say any exact prices but it was it was in the 30s. Bad economy=cheap cars and if any of you would have seen the opportunity i knew someone on here would step up and get it too.

people on this forum don't/never liked you simply because you come from money. IMO, that is no reason to dislike someone... its just pure hating!

Kevin has never come across as a spoiled rich kid, he's always been polite, and respectful to everybody here. Even in his response to your posts in this thread, he showed dignity, self restraint and maturity. He didn't present his new car in a bragging way, i.e. (I'm 18, I'm driving a Maseratti, and you old folks can only afford an Altima Coupe) ... that would be room for ridicule and flaming.

Instead, he simply stated that he got a new car, and posted pics of the car. Fellas, I'm all for a good flaming session when the situation calls for it, but to just hate on the guy because he's young and comes from money is just not cool.

Kevin, congrats on the new car... from everything I've observed about you, you seem like a really good kid, and its my guess that your maturity and respect for your parents is what has earned you this new vehicle. You will never be able to please everyone dude, just do you... I think there are a lot of guys jealous because, whether you have game or not, you're going to pull so much a$$ because of this car its not even funny!

And for the record, I don't think you will have nearly as many issues with cops in this car as you did with the A/C.. especially if you don't tint it (which you shouldn't be doing to a Maseratti anyway! Your issues in your A/C were due to the fact that it was modded and looked like a race-prone modded vehicle. Maseratti's are much more sophisticated, and not likely to be a cop radar, especially in OC!

I agree with everything you said! Hating on the wealthy,or the children of the wealthy is NOT cool, not when they don't deserve it! I'm already saving for my daughter's sweet 16 party, which I'm sure I will spend over $100K for after its all said and done (the car I want to buy her currently runs for $80K) ... and I'm sure I will catch heat for that from other folks, but I could care less... at the root of everything I do in life is the need/want to provide the best life possible for my wife and daughter... I'm sure Kevin's parents feel the same way!

And regarding the upkeep of the Maseratti, yeah, I would have to agree that that is going to be exprensive... especially if the warranty is almost up!
