Meh, I could think of better ways to spend money than to have the gas cap hidden under your taillight.

Anyone can leave their car the same color and just paint the new body kit or what ever they put on. Anyone can just put exhaust, intake, and little odds and ends on and call it good. I am not going for the "norm" here. I am going for the different. Yes I am still putting on a body kit. But when I pull up next to another coupe mine will stand out. As for spending the money..... If you know how to work with metal it does not cost you s*** to do. This is what I do for fun. My car is my toy. If I don't know how to do something I will either do trade work for it or learn to do it myself. Parts are cheap labor is what will get you every time. Anyone can do the little things. I am sorry if this offends anyone. It is not meant to. I just thought this place would be different to share my project with people. Yes I have just started this big project with my AC. But when it is done it will be one of a kind. I am thinking way outside the box with a car that there is not a whole lot of aftermarket parts out there for it. This is not a Honda that you can walk into your local auto parts store and pick up every mod you need or want. If someone does not make it for my car I will find someone to make me what I need or make it myself. Don't be scared to take a sheet of metal or some fiberglass and have a good time. I have seen what you guys can do and I like it. Taking things apart and moding is what it is all about. that is what I am doing. There are a lot of great looking AC's on this forum mine is just a little different. Believe me I still want a car that handles well, goes fast but I want to stand out while doing it. Yes call me crazy for cutting up a perfectly good car. but I am having fun while doing it. Like I said I am not out to offend anyone but this is where I am coming from. I was all show and all go.

i don't think anyone's taking offence to what you've done, people are just giving their opinions of what they think of what you've done and the consensus seems to be that most don't like it too much. but i have to give you props for thinking outside the box and being original, unfortunately when being original, there's going to be alot of people who think that what you think is original is ugly or a waste or money. to me, the mods are not something like too much, but i respect that you've gone to the trouble of doing it and putting in the time and effort. i think the two tone paint job is great, but i would have picked a different design. keep up the good work man, it's your hobby so do what you want with it :)

Need some more pics please when paint is done, I think it will look pretty good.

Is the light on a hinge or something? Do you have to open the trunk everytime you want to flip it out like that?

My only objection is that your paint line obliterates the curve created by the front fender. Kind of clashes, in my opinion.

Not sure what you could have done without messing up the clean line you have, but it's noticeable.

Do you have to pop your trunk to flip up the light to get to the gas cap?

Here is a little teaser of what my it is going to look like. The car is still in pieces so I will take more photos later. But here is a little peek.[img][/img]
the car is not yet clear coated so it is not shinny or anything.

The silver is the graphic and the green is the color of the car.
