hey gabby...would u say its worth rebuilding a T25 from a SR than one from a CA...cuz my CA stock turbo i can already hear it not as good as before...and ive got a turbo from a red top...looks good hardly any shaft play...but id like to rebuild it none the less...

ive seen SR turbos with no shaft play go pretty cheap. this was just cleaning, not rebuilding, but yeah I would opt ofr the SR over the CA turbo

true...but id rather just rebuild it none the less so i have a much stronger turbo to fudge with...and the rebuild kit is around 78 bucks which isnt to bad

def the route to go. I have gotten into the nitty gritty of rebuilding built on a non-BB turbo seems pretty straight forward. there are a few nice write ups in the KA-T section.

one more question...i finally got 2 tubro to redtop t25's, one blow, and the other miney inout play... i want to rebuild the blown turbo and i was able to get the rear housing off with some window cleaner and effort from god, (seized like a mother) and i looked into tryint ot remove the front housing....but **** were can i pick up a tool to remove that massive c clamp (snap ring) holding verything together...im going to dunk everything in some ATF as ur friend suggested.... help a homie CA guy out...
