20Bs have always had a weird sound. the tone doesnt change so much as the volume does. I loved my 13b, when you're at speed and not accelerating, it sounds eerily quiet

I gatta say I absolutely love the sound of subies and rotaries, how can you not? If you hear a subie a 1/2 mile away you know exactly what it is. And 4 plug wire made me lol! I mean I love the sound of Italian power but the sound of a built rotary gets me all tingly inside.

there's no sound quite like a built 4 rotor, sounds like a cammed v8 at idle and sounds like an F1 car at redline , and subaru's? those have got to be the sexiest sounding 4 cylinder ever!! :boink:

why does a ka-e sound the way they do. I hate them even compared to a honda. I think it has somehting to do with the way the manifold is split

probably haha. the question was kinda silly though.
i suppose mine was distinct in my area at the time when i had it. it had a header, straight pipe, to a 2-1/4 boso pipe sicking uo in the back like 3 foot. it sounded crazy...and people knew it was the flat black hatch on the gangbsta jap wheels coming.
my s*** ran great :lolling:
