how is a 2.6 L beating a 3.0? and when did this 2.6 come out, you missed the whole point, the vg30dett came out in 1990, and its still the most powerful motor. and the r39 thing, was that a production car? ok....game over

But in the end it all boils down to the fact that its still a Honda and my car is still faster than yours =) Well that and you can't talk about weight because I hear spray painted bumpers add a lot too .. have a good day.

RB26DETT came out when the R32 GT-R came out (1989 right? im not sure, im thinking maybe it came out in 1991), i know that R32 skylines were started in 1989

There were road versions of the R390, like a japanese lambo, only way cooler ;)

no need to take offense to that, and actually the R39o was a road car(and race car), it had to be to enter LeMans, and the 2.6 came out in 1989 and was more powerful than the vg3odett then as well, but ill have to check in about the r39o, i know the LeMans competition cars have to have a road car version to compete, but i dont think it has to be a production car (just like the xj22o, which was a production car however)

i thought u guys were wrong but the rb26 did come in the r32, i didnt know that, but the 3z has a higher torque rating stock and is .4 L larger, and it has twin intercoolers, according to nismo_freak the r34gtr has a fmic and runs 10 psi stock. the 3z runs 9psi, makes the same stock hp and more torque, and it has a larger displacement. but nismo just owned me and said the rb is better, i give up.

Hey little note on the camero if it was a 91 v6 model it would of had the 3.1. And in the 80's they had the ever so wonderful 2.8 v6. This engine is by far my most hated engine of all time. I hate the chevy 2.8 v6 it is crap and should die. Why I hate it more than the honda 1.5.

Woa woa woa... take it easy guys i make one car weight joke and people get all offended. Your like women, you better not even mention weight! The weight joke was a joke, we all know a Twin Turbo 300zx is at least 3x cooler than a CRX. Besides, two CRXs and a car trailer has gotta be closer to 5000 pounds. You'd need cheap 18" rims, a full tank of gas, and two really fat people in your car to beat that.

No, it's a turbo rotary mustang with headers and pistons. It's doing 11's at the track. That has to be the funniest quote I have ever heard. I hope that guy saw that video and how stupid he looked.

i woulndt consider that being :owned , just sharing of forgotten information, and as far as factory ratings, show me dyno numbers from a stock gtr and 3oozx turbo, id be surprised if the RB was out done even with the .4 liter displacement callenge and 4wd to contend with

From what i've always understood, the power ratings for the RB are wayy underrated (as are many japan vehicles). So i'd think the actual hp for the r34 would be well in the 300hp range.

ive only seen one dyno of a stock r33 Vspec, and it put down 27owhp, and with 4wd and such, this would easily put the RB26dett into the 32o range or so

RB-X....Nissans most powerful production engine (at least I think so). In the 400R I believe, 400hp...cost around 100Gs when it was released...
