When I start it up, the idle goes up and down and up and down, then sorta stabilizes but keeps going up and down like that. Anyone have an idea?
It's not a missing vacuum hose and it's not loose wiring. I tested both ad infinitum. I have replaced the wires, plugs, cap and rotor and the issue is still there, but just more clear what it is doing to the RPMS. If I rev it hard and then let the engine decelerate, it will stumble into idle just before getting back to the same old idle situation again...
Clogged injectors / filter or weak fuel pressure?
doubtful,it'd be more severe with those problems. My guess is tps or iacv

I don't think this thing has a IACV as KA people know it.
Thanks, that was more what I needed. I'll try it out tomorrow.

Wicked nice pickup man I've been keeping an eye open for a old B13 SE-R, just cant find them anymore. Right now I got a 95 B14 SE-R and a 01 B15 SE, figure a B13 SE-R would finish my collection of transverse SR20's. But anyways next time try the sentra/g20/NX thread area much more traffic than the old SR20 section. From what I can tell though from what you described sounds like you might have a bad MAF.

I looked this up, and Tire Rack has eight zillion 14" tires available, including these Star Specs:

Here's the full inventory of 14" tires:

I didn't say you cant find tires, you can find tons of tires. I said:
14's are worthless for street tires, the selection available for that size is garbage
I'm talking quality, not quantity. Fugly beasts can find chicks, they're just going to be equally/more fugly.

Star Specs are so/so... Star Specs with a 60 sidewall are trash.

To be totally honest, the street tire market is so saturated with crappy tires. There are really only two street tires I'd bother with right now for summer use, the RS3 and the tire I used to win the NICOFest Autocross at Carlisle, the RE11.

I had no problem finding good rubber for my NX...Only limiting factor was wheel width and the limited space available in the wheel well. I was rubbing with Lowering springs and 205's with 10mm spacers on hard corners.
