he lied to cover up another lie. he was/is cheating and he's trying to cover it up by lying and saying that it's just a friendship. it's a sad fact, but you really need to realize it.

thanks everyone for your insights/opinions whether they were positive or negative, also thanks for the kind words as well as the criticism, I take it all with a grain of salt. I think everything will be ok.

Anyone that wouldn't trade a Sentra for an SRT-4 is a total retard.

Call me a retard then. I can't stand the SRT4. It has respectable power, but I absolutely hate the interior of those things. They are so cheap inside it's ridiculous.

Also, Stacey's Sentra is sweet. And I guess I'm thinking her Sentra vs. a stock SRT4. I'd rather have her Sentra. Although, it does need a manual swap in it.

You're a retard. B16s are beyond hideous. Neons aren't great looking either but the power and sound make up for it. If I have to drive an ugly, wrong wheel drive car of the two it will most definitely be the SRT-4.

I posted that semi-jokingly. In the midwest, a RWD car as a daily is miserable during the winter (especially where I live seeing as they don't like to plow). I'd love to get a RWD toy car and have another as a daily, but that is cost prohibitive at this point in my life. Give me 5-10 years and that may be a different story.

Hahaha! A "perfect" girl in my book isn't a cheater.

Cheating is okay when it's to be with each other, but when he's cheating on you, ohhh no, what a terrible guy! Yeah, I bet his previous girlfriend he cheated on to be with you felt the same way you do. "Don't judge me!" Seems like you're completely okay with judging the "sorority f*** girl" who was in the same position as you.

Your relationship was bound to not last from the start. Did you honestly think you could completely trust each other the whole time, seeing as your foundation was a complete violation of trust to your significant others? Interesting.

I am so late to this thread... Sorry bud, I would suggest moving out. I know it's hard, this guy will probably say anything to get you to stay. My advice is just to move on, there are so many decent guys out there.

...there is never an excuse to cheat, but like you said don't judge. Karma is a pain in the behind.

it's a lot easier to get back under control.

you can't steer with the gas pedal on a fwd car.

once they're lost...it's um...lost?

I wouldn't do that either. Your Sentra with boost will be much nicer imo. Save the money you'd drop on a Neon to use quality parts, AND TUNING, and to sort out the little expenses that come with adding boost to a car.

If another car must enter the picture then get another Sentra for a daily since, undoubtably, you'll end up with a pile of stock parts laying around.

I absolutely prefer RWD in the snow. I've been over the reasons why in other threads. And anyway, the right set of snow tires makes ANY car dailyable even in the worst winter weather. There's no reason to be afraid of RWD just because of winter weather.

I agree with his last statemet. I've driven many FWD cars on the track. They're fun. IMHO, of all the configurations, I find AWD the least challenging (but still a whole lotta fun).

As far as the Sentra vs SRT-4. I think for driving experience/track use, I'd go with the SRT-4 well before a Sentra. But for LT ownership/daily driving I'd go with the Sentra before an SRT-4.

My Toyota Levin 20-valve was fun as hell. No hate for the FWD, I just prefer RWD.

Exactly!! I'm there with you 100% Joel. Anything on the track is fun. I've never tracked an AWD car, but I've driven plenty of them. And I can just imagine that on the track it would be the least challenging, but still fun. FWD is fun because you can get the whole car sideways, steer where you want to go, and stomp and the gas. RWD is also fun, but for completely different reasons. Both are a blast. And yeah, for track use, the SRT 4 would be better. But I wouldn't want to own one for a dialy. However, a turbo'd sentra could hold it's own against an SRT4 on the track.

That's exactly how the Maxima was with the right tires. Just eminently tossable. You could just chuck it around a corner and nail the gas and it'd go. Lots of fun. There was a windy s-curving onramp from a 45mph road I used to take going to work from my old house in the Max...it was so much fun to build up speed and FLING through it.
