I need help finding a company , a good company to buy a R32 rb20det front clip.I'm not sure who is a reputable company. I've even looked at NICOS sponsored company but found nothing but rb25 front clips. If your wondering why im buying a front clip its because i plan on swapping usin the R32 crossmember to avoid making a custom dump to clear my steering shaft in my S13, like most of mount kits require. Thanks in advance!!!!

then you still not avoiding the problem, the crossmember will still hit the shaft MORE then a mount kit...

oooh..... i thought that was the route to take to avoid contact. so i guess im better off using mckinney mount kit, downpipe and dump pipe spacer to clear the steering shaft.

I love these threads that say "I SEARCHED" after a vague topic.. For some reason it's usually a dead giveaway that no searching actually took place LOL. Sadly it also usually indicates that it's an RB20 owner .

Ok enough bashing.. To be helpful, we have a whole thread here dedicated to where people got their clips/motorsets from, take a look maybe someone close to you replied: zerothread?id=115184

Even with r32 xmember you're going to have contact problems. Try checking out the AM performance downpipe, which supposedly will clear the steering column on just about all LHD swaps. For what you'll pay for it you might be able have a custom DP made cheaper though.

yes and the cost difference in a clip versus a dropout is usually close to a mount kit....

there is a super clean dropout here in cincinnati right now. the same guys i got mine from..... pm me if interested, i can get their number...

oh and if you have anyone that can weld.... you can make your own mounts very easily. and position the engine and trans so that there are no! fitment issues... i'll try to get some pics of my setup... had the whole thing done in a day minus wiring issues that turned out to be a bad pcm....

It doesn't matter what mount kit/crossmember you use - your going to have clearence issues with the stock unit.

You can find used setups that are ment for clearence purposes. Seach for AM performance I believe that makes those wicked rb20/rb25 stock turbo dumps.
