Hey everybody Im new to this but I need help. I have an s13 i started to work on about two years ago. pulled the motor and trans and thats as far as i got. so now i am dead set on fixing it this time. converting it to manual, adding lsd, and doing just some minor engine work. ive got the engine work under control i think but what i need help with now is wheel fitment.

I found some wheels i realy like that r 16x8 with +0 offset. does anyone know if i can roll the fenders enough to make them fit when i lower it a good bit without them rubbing in the curves.

Also what size tires would be a good fit for the set up im using.

Did you find some Sportmax 002's? You will be fine without a roll. 205/50

I don't think it really matters what I think about YOUR wheels. If you like them put them on your car. They will fit.

XXR is Sportmax
they are not knock offs of each other. they are one in the same.

A little roll, some camber plates, and some adjustable RUCAs and you will be set

He will definitely need at least a roll unless he doesn't want to lower it. And with that much travel, he'll still probably rub in hard corners.

You're DEFINITELY gonna need a fender roll, no way around it.
If you lower it, plan on adding some camber to those wheels, they stick out quite a bit without it
Do some research on what kind of tire you want. Many like the lower profile style, while others like the "meaty" look

There's plenty of threads in the 240sxgen section and the wheels/tires section with pictures to aid you in your decision.

205/50 will stick out...a lot on that wheel. I should know, those are the tires I'm currently using. I should have gone with a 195/45 on my 002s, but then again it's also about preference.

Here's a shot of my buddy James' 16" 002 wrapped in 195/45 rubber

Dont Listen to that fool ^^

no need to stretch a 195 on a 8inch wheel.
throw a 225 45 on there and pull.
or a 215 45

Like I said, it also has to do with preference. Some people like the stretched look.

i like it too, but its exactly that.
a "look"
doesn't really do too much. but im just saying, im assuming he's going from stock which is what a 195 60?
id imagine he'd want to gain performance with the upgrade and run a wider tire.

yeah i definately want a wider tire what if i find some16x8 +15 offset with a 215/45 tire you think i would still need a fender roll
