well, my wife and i checked seth's brother's car... we're thiking about it.

i also found a blue vert in cali... it's nice. i really like the blue and my wife likes it even more. it's also on ebay. anyone know how much it would cost to ship a car from california to michigan?

i don't know what the deal is with the guy in ohio. i haven't heard from him in a week, so i'm assuming he sold it to the winning bidder. maybe i'll give him a call on my lunch break just to see what's up. not that i'd be able to go pick it up anytime soon anyway... but we'll see.

it's looking like we're going to have to wait until spring now. it snowed last night and the trucks were out salting the roads all ready...

[off topic] is there a way i (or a mod) can change the topic of this thread to say "dexter needs a new vert" as this thread has kind of evolved into something different than it was originally intended to be? [/off topic]

yes, hotness.

i did get a shipping quote:Customized Quote ResultsBelow is your full quote results for a 1993 Nissan 240SX. You can email this customized quote or book this move online by completing the form below.

**Customized Rate: $827.00 DAS Reference #: 3191229 Customized Rate Includes: Top Load $150.00 (because it's a vert)Valuation $199.00 (funny name for insurance)

Estimated Pickup11/25/2006

Estimated Delivery12/9/2006

then i'd have to figure out a way to get it 101 miles from its dropoff destination... we'll see how it goes. i think that's cheaper than flying out to pick it up and driving it 4 days back to michigan.

My shipping charges were roughly the same from AZ to NC. I was lucky and the guy dropped it off at a grocery store parking lot minutes from my house. Make sure you get a really good written and signed description of the car agreed upon by the seller and shipper, otherwise it's, "it looked like that when I picked it up."

good luck.
