sigh, on the plus side I dont have to deal with the ethical struggle of keeping/spreading out the money, but on the other hand I now have $4.52 and an empty tank of gas.

Heh, most banks would charge you $10/month if you don't keep a minimum balance. In a couple weeks you could owe your bank $5.48, and have to pay it just to close the account so you don't owe them $15.48 in 6 weeks.

nah, its a cool local credit union- Ive had a 1 cent balance there before for months on end: its no problem having no money. (at least as far as the bank is concerned )
