I'm Trading my 240sx...For a CIVIC!

I couldv'e eaten all of you for breakfast lunch and dinner with my integra G-SR. now a civic is a little different but, you can still make them fast and handle, rgardless of how "gay" hondas are a lot of them could probably beat you! even with a bad driver!as for auto-x with v-tec you keep it in the powerband, if you want to win that is! never let the v-tec drop off thats the only way you have power in a honda! unless you turbo'd it.its funny 'cuz most of this is like the damn chevy or ford debate.your car is better so shut-up.

I've always loved civic hatches. I'd love a '96-00 hatch with 15 inch black rota slipstreams powered by a b18c5.

I'm pretty sure you don't know what you're talking about. An LS VTEC does not cost anywhere near 7 grand.. take a b18 block (dirt cheap and as common as a KA), and a $500 vtec head.. then maybe $1000 in other prep materials. You can do one for about $3k max, and that's doing it RIGHT, which most people don't bother to do. And how can you be on a 'wait list' for something that's custom made? The parts aren't exactly on short supply..

I'm not sure where you heard this, but I'm guessing it was from a ricer who thinks VTEC is some mAd KiCK of POwAh y0!!!1 The whole point of VTEC is to keep the powerband smooth, so that it is more controllable. Not to mention that VTEC is not even audible on a lot of stock Hondas, let alone noticable on the butt dyno.

I don't know what your GSR had or how fast it was but either way, a civic is not really different at all. You do realize that an Integra is for all intents and purposes just a glorified civic right? With that being said, once a civic gets a b-series swap (which 95% of them have nowadays), it pretty much levels the playing field. Basically anything your integra can do a civic can do better (since a civic dx weighs, what, 500 lbs less?).
