I'm looking for some springs because my oem struts are worn, i hear there are california customs, and eibach springs but cant find them. I autocross and drag race my q45 and I am planning on using the tokico blue shocks unless there is something else in a simular price range. I have used Tokico shocks on my 240z with very good results. I don't need the car to be bouncy and bottom easily under hard cornering. I have the thickest oem rear sway bar, and i have urathane tension rod bushings. I hate the wheel gap and i want to go lower than stock!

Also, I'm looking for some rims that will fit without rubbing on the body when lock the wheel side to side. i see some of you using g35 rims, do those fit well? I want something flush or close to it, not sticking out tho. but, i can roll fenders because i have a roller tool if it needs a little help.I think the 19" g35 wheels look cool, the ones with the bowed out spokes. but i would like to see some pictures of wheels with good taste that complement the stock lines of the 1990 q45! Yes, i need them soon, my tires are almost bald with less than 2k miles on them.

I'm on a buget, so price counts.

thank you for suggestions! please point me in the right direction!

You cant be on much of a budget with a Q......budgets dont exist with these cars...... Not many springs around these days...I would think you could not a half a coil off and increase the spring rate slightly which that will do and also get you lower...

I am not sure how much a half a coil on that car will lower it.....you might ask the forum...somebody must have tried this

Now there are two oxymoronic statements! Be sure to post video while you car still runs.

But I have to ask, why not a lighter car that is less expensive to modify and better suited for these types of activities?

I daily drive my q45 and I like to race it just because i can.does anyone have used springs? i bought my q45 on a buget, and i can also fix it one piece at a time.

I autox my 1973 datsun 240z, backup car. I daily drive, drag race and autox my 1990 nissan 240sx with ka-t and run e-85 with over 300hp on the stock dohc motor from a s14. been driving it for 2 years daily till i got the q45.I autoxed my 1990 t-bird LX for a season, with a 3.8 6-banger with 140hp, for fun-sold it later. i beat some faster cars with bad drivers. hehe.

the good videos are coming next week.

some guy took these with his phone:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViFdMbnp ... Tx_C7_rw8o

both cars are doing 7-8 second times, i was doing 10.3 seconds.the track officials lined me up with much faster cars. i bet they thought i was just a bad driver with a fast car. but it was the other way around.

i got tired of brake stands, so i did some n drops. i was getting bored. i hate automatics. i was there just for fun and i got 11 passes in that day so i was happy.

I have a set of four TOKICO blue struts and with springs for 90-93 Q45 non active suspension car, everything as a take off unit.

The might be two years old, probably less.

Most of the time they have been in my storage as I only got to drive the car for 5 months after buying it. I put on about 5,000 miles and the previous owner put on 3000 or 4000 miles.

So they are in very nice condition, but I have an active car now and won't be using these.

$250 shipped to the 48 states.
