I'm starting to like Maximas. :inoutgay:

Not sure if Maximas got cooler or I got lamer, but our orbits have moved in closer proximity. Whatever this one is is the one that catches my eye everytime I see one. It's FWD, which sucks sweaty balls, but I could see it as a nice DD with a pumped-up stereo and a nice set of racing wheels.

So, Max owners, those muddy bootprints on the clubhouse floor are mine, I dumped all that craft beer down the drain and stocked the clubhouse fridge with Captain Morgan, oh, and the TV now gets p0rn channels. :naughty:

Yep, liking the new Maxima hints that you're one step closer to becoming a Geritol-taking, AARP card flashing, early bird special dining, SC430 owner. But there is hope....

Today...... Maxima.

Tomorrow... Buick Lucerne.

Better make sure you make it for the 7:30 PM Matlock episode so that you can make it to bed at a reasonable time!

Hell no! It's all about classics like The Rockford Files!

And Starsky and Hutch. Only they would try to run a stakeout in a car with that paint job.

Offtopic, but I was just checking my hotmail, yeah, what? WHAT!? I didn't think so, you punk kids with your iPads and your Gmail and your bi-curious parties. The chick on the landing page is making my junk twitch.

I'd rather have a Lucerne. At least Buick gives you a 4 cogs and V8 you could 'improve' by removing the muffler.

New Maxima is ugly, small, and has a CVT. None of those things are on the checklist of "Stuff that makes a car a Maxima".

I'm a Maxima guy and I hate it.

Hotmail! You out-of-date MFR! Joel doesn't even use Hotmail anymore.

Honestly, design wise I like it too. I've seen a few that look really good with 370z wheels. CVT is a fail. As for FWD, well RWD would be cool, but the last RWD maxima happened in the 80s, I don't think its coming back. Plus its probably super comfortable and has a bunch of technology doo-dads inside.

FTFY (j/k).

A bigger question is does he still own a rotary phone or typewriter?

Very true. I have a fixed gear bike and someday these parachute pants are coming back in style.

The same parachute pants that temporarily inflate when you fart?

I miss parachute pants lol. I may or may not have had a couple sets with the matching jacket. Between that and the LA lights sneakers to light up the night you could hear/see people coming. :rotfl

Did you ever have the Kangaroos with the zipper pouch?

Converse Weapons, were my shoe of choice back in the day. I remember my brother having a couple pairs of the Kangaroos when we were young, but I don't ever remember him putting anything in the little pouch.

I remember when the Chuck Taylor Converse All-stars were the sneaker of choice, more cool than Keds.

I remember Roos, but I never had a pair. They were popular with the latchkey kids to hold their house keys.

LOL, I'm totally on board with you on the Maxima TMS. I really like the looks of the new Max. I know it's FWD (fine for a DD IMHO) and CVT (I have no first hand experience, so I don't hate them), but I think the esthetics are better than the Altima and Sentra. It's the only Sedan Nissan makes right now that I like.

I'm also still rocking a hotmail account. Going strong since 1998. I have absolutely no intention of getting rid of it either. I'm keeping that thing till I die.
