You're only as old as you feel.

And if you feel like driving a new maxima, out on some Goddamn diapers and get a chaffuer for the trip to the farmer's market.

I dumped all that craft beer down the drain.
Wait what? I can't comprehend what you're talking about. I think you lost me at "beer". I can't process the words preceding it.

7th gen Maxima has less headroom than a coffin that's been run over by a steamroller. "Coupelike" rooflines can die in a fire. If I wanted a couplelike roofline I WOULD BUY A GORRAM COUPE.

Not if you had a wife and kids and a budget for one car, you wouldn't.

And if I had a wife and kids I'd want a car with room for their heads.

This is true. Unless you marry a very short woman and have very short kids.

Does that mean you want tilt wheel? :chuckle:

I knew that was on the way before I even made the post. :rotfl

In all seriousness, though, non-TELESCOPING steering columns are one of those very small things that can COMPLETELY kill a car for me. Without a telescoping wheel, it's generally impossible for me to get comfortable. If my legroom is comfortable, the reach to the wheel is wrong, or if my arms are comfortable my legs are not. I must have gotten lucky with the Maxima, because it only had tilt but I was always very comfortable in it.

I've NEVER gotten into a car with a telescoping steering column. That would be so badass.

Every car with tilt and/or telescoping wheel I have driven has been well received. That's an important adjustment.

What is this telescoping wheel you speak of? Is this some dream feature of futuristic luxury vehicles such as this?

Ugh, if HT4100-powered FWD Cadillacs are the future, I'm praying for the world to end tonight.

telescoping means it can extend out closer to you. I like turbo boost capability too.

or in the case of old farts, extend farther away from you so the botton of steering wheel doesn't rub your belly. ;)

But then I can't reach the turn signal controls so I can leave my blinker on while I drive.

XP is a decent OS. I think I will just go full Linux on the next box I build. Yeah, you snotnosed anklebiters. Not a tablet, not an iPad, nothing on "the cloud" mnnyaa, theee cloooud, A desktop, a damned box! Well, maybe something creepy, like this.

Worth mentioning that most popular Linux distros have fairly good cloud integration there days?

Irrelevant. One is not a requirement for the other. Similarly, you could love the cloud, but hate Linux.

Actually, considering that most Linux versions are designed to take up minimal drive space, it makes them more qualified for smaller computers that would use cloud storage than any other type of OS.

Sure, but that would be weird, like a genuine "WTF" kinda weird.

People entrusting more than their weak a** iTunes playlists, but even their confidential data to someone else at a remote site because they are too lazy, too stupid or pathetically trendy to back up their own s*** are weird, but, hey, Murica. The knuckledraggers will be coming for the last of the thinkers any time now.

Nah, I'm with you. My "cloud" backup solution is to have a cheap old server at home for personal use. Most people don't get into that kinda ish, so this is for them I guess...
