i really want one of these to cruise around campus on, that way i could leave my 240 parked unless i needed to make a longer trip. whats the MPG on this thing like 80?

Oh, and the benefit of owning a 50cc over a 250 or something bigger, at least in MD/DC/VA, is that a 50cc requires no motorcycle license and no registration. Thus, I can park it anywhere, like on the sidewalk locked to a light pole, tree, or bike rack. This is kind of the whole point. If I had a plate, I'd have to find a real parking space, and DC tends to be fresh out of those, as are most large cities.

Cool. I was wondering about that. I remember seeing something about engines under 50cc & 3HP. Do you know if there's any limit to the power output to remain legal?
