That is very clean, not bad for 1800. Yeah I have my engine on HKS2530s

Sorta straight ^^^ bumper cover to passenger side front fender (gap). But I'd buy it anyway for the awesome radio antenna (third picture). :) Pop the T-tops off, and play some hoops with the antenna.

Funny, but doesn't show any antenna in the first two shots and not sure what that is in the third...anyway, wish I had $1800 and it would be gone.

Don't want to jinx myself but I'm going to look at a 91 2+0 this weekend, the bad things are:
1) It's auto (but that can be remedied I have 2 manuals in the garage)
2) It's Aztec Red which is by far my least favorite color on the Z
But it is supposed to be 100% absolutely immaculate inside and out. The guy tells me that he just dumped a bunch of money into engine rebuild and all around refresh and whoever did the rebuild didn't know what they were doing so the engine popped after three months. He is giving me a hellacious deal so even though its not my favorite color if the car is in as good a shape as he says I'll be back in a Z before too long. And hey at least I'll be repping my high school and undergrad alum mater colors (yes they are the same: red, black, and silver).

Awesome!
I agree with the aztec, I looked at a really nice one way at the beginning of what turned out to be my TT search and just could not pull the trigger on bright red. I already feel strange in CRP as it also gets attention, but that is good because in the white NA people too often didn't see me and swerving to the next lane suddenly wasn't as uncommon as I'd have liked :wtf2:
STILL pine for sapphire though...or dpm :fap:

^that Green one is gorgeous but a bit out of my price range at the moment. The Aztec one wasn't as nice as the owner described, I will give it to him it was in much better shape than would be expected for an $800 car but it had some body work done to it previously which I really feel that the guy didn't even know about because he was surprised when I pointed it out. I just know where to look and always carry my body filler magnet. So in short, the search continues. I need to get the LS400 engine donor out of my garage anyway so its all good.

I hear ya, it took me almost two years to pull the trigger on the TT (although the NA was a one-sight buy- saw it one day on way home on the bus, bought it next and NO MORE BUS :chuckle: ) and it's worth the wait for the right car.

It is especially since I've been looking at all the cars in Texas and the surrounding states and realize that every time I come across a sapphire or a yellow I get giddy. So I'm going to hold of, save up some more and quite possibly end up flying to pick up a driver and road tripping back home. I'm still on the lookout, never know when a diamond in the rough may come across CL or offerup.

I know what you mean, I would get set on looking at a car, then another one pops up and the other gets sold while you think about the latest...and so on.
Half the fun though, I remember being actually a little sad when my daily, West Coast TTZ hunt ended.
Been fun "pestering" you with good ones (and not so good ones... ) so I'll keep looking, we do usually have a lot of Z's around here for sale.
So Sapphire and Yellow Gold are your top 2 wishes? Other than of course the hard to find, glorious dpm... :yesnod

^ GOOD GOD THAT IS PERFECTION OF EPIC PROPORTION! Wish I had those kind of funds to be able to drop 17k cash on a toy.

Also I did find a 93 TK3 2+0 here in Houston but it's an auto and has a popped engine and the guy wants $2800.00 for it because it has some 3rd rate flea-market stereo system and screen in it. I hit him pretty low with $500 to start off the negotiations and he got butt-hurt and told me in his broken English "don't insult urself" then started telling me how the KBB value is near $6k etc. etc. the car is a good candidate but the owner is a huge doosh so sadly that's not likely to happen. In addition to that I was informed by the girlfriend that we are doing thanksgiving at our house (that we've been in for 9 months) so I will be dumping gobs on back yard beautification and deck install so it's presentable. Sooo looks like my car fund will be hit for non-car expenses (I should've never told her about the car fund. :tisk: )

Its not the labor, its the materials, we have a pretty sizable back yard so the deck we want is around 800SF so at $3/SF, well you do the math. I do greatly appreciate the sentiment though.

Well, this just popped up- not TOO bad for $2200.
'94 black M/T slicky!
210K miles but a 60K motor swapped in. Paint a bit haggard but body basically straight except it looks like the nose got pushed in a tad (raised nose panel), but didn't skew the lights/hood gap.
I'd probably give it a look-see if I was in Anton's position...def worth bringing back to awesomeness:

Eh, no TTop no want, definitely a good candidate for some TLC though. I know everyone has a hard-on for slick-tops but I just don't see the point unless you're building a race-car.

Oh, didn't know that! (no slicky-love)
I personally am not overly into the slicktop idea, but on the other hand I have never enjoyed sunroofs/t-tops and especially light (and heat!) coming in from above so I think a slicky would be cool, for more reasons than one... :chuckle:

I wouldn't build a Z32 as a designated race car, there are much better, cheaper, more attainable candidates out there. i want a Z32 for the GT cruiserness of the car and there is no better way to accentuate that than going topless.

Man, can't believe I missed this- '91 RHD 80K registered jap import with a blown motor, looks pretty amazing and with your motor on hand, maybe your answer? Seems like it may be easier to do this than a driver although shipping then enters the picture, but which he has already done himself...???
