And I want to be there helping you, Bart.

I haven't worked on my car for almost a month. Stupid 2nd gear synchro. Just got the damned thing together and now I'm gonna have to tear it apart again.

Tito, send your calipers off to the powdercoating shop that did my valve cover. TRG Coating is the name. They're in Jersey

Hahahahahahaha

I'd just like to know what it's like to do a 2-person job with two actual people rather than just me in my garage by myself.

Probably the lack of lighting. My camera gets the shakes/blurs when there's not enough ambient light.

I want to get mine powdercoated white, but I can't exactly take the time to pull them off and have them sprayed right now. The vert's my only driver, and I need her right now.

Courtesy and Midway should be able to hook you up with a good deal for rebuild kits.

Also, you can buy a rebuild kit for a WRX. I believe they're the same kit.

Turbo swap is definitely a one man job. I can get mine out in about half an hour if I'm pissed (ie working fast)

info noted for tonight's online shopping spree white would look good, as would a gray to match the lower half of your vert. i like the bright, contrasting colors on some cars, but i wouldn't be able to look at my car everyday and have my gaze always wander off to the calipers.

that sucks man, as long as you're not too hurt. there goes one of the main reasons why i'm afraid of riding, most people in cars don't know how to safely drive around bikes

There is a special level of hell reserved for a$$ in cars who make motorcyclists wreck. It's a bit further down than pedophiles and people who talk at the theater.

Bottom mount. I have it down to a science at this point. One summer I pulled the little ****er off 3 times (reused lock tabs are the devil)

The white on my calipers looks nice behind the grey wheels. It helps them stand out just a little, but it's not glaring. Primarily because my car is painted around a neutral colour scheme, so nothing pops out at you. If the calipers were red (ala brembo) then I think more attention would be drawn to it because it would be a drop of red in a sea of white

Well I was being dumb too. I was not wearing my helmet, and I only had my throttle hand on cause I was crusing at about 20 mph in traffic, and I see this minivan come over, I think if I woulda had both hands on the bike I woulda been able to control the slide, but as soon as I hit the brakes I guess I pulled the bike right and it came up kinda like an endo and threw it off. I just picked it up, started it, and kept going.
