well if you notice visibly it's tore up then yea, replace that **** son and get a 520 conversion while your at it...-1 up front, and maybe a +1 in the rear...lose a little up top end but nothing really noticeable, but the acceleration you can tell right off the bat...

Even with my extra pair of black dress shoes, I fall into your maximum number of shoes to be a man thing. If i don't wear sneakers, I go barefoot. Only real men walk across parking lots barefoot.

and ya you should just replace the chain to start off. A worn chain is never good. if its still does it then you might wanted check the teeth on the sprockets if any of them are bent or abused.

By the way, as a clarification of my "shoe rule":

Any shoe that is worn expressly for the purposes of playing a particular sport (ie. bike shoes, golf shoes, bowling shoes) is considered SPORTING EQUIPMENT and is therefore excluded from the 5-pair maximum. If you have rollerblades, though, you are gay even if that's the only footwear you own. Actually ESPECIALLY if it's the only footwear you own.
