It was a pig roast and indigestion for me. Also rain and missing the fireworks. Yay.

I didn't even get drunk.

we ran through a twelve at the house, grilled some grub, jumped in the pool, lit our loose fireworks from the legal tent, then went to the bar. we ran into my ex there who was with two other guys, one of them thought it would be a good idea to tell the other one that i wanted to fight him because i looked over in there direction (welcome back to middle school). so we're outside smoking on the patio, when this kid comes up behind me and pushes his chest all into my back, i turn around to look at him and start laughing at him. five people surround him as i kindly suggest he leaves before he goes home hurting. the owner finally comes out and gets the guy to go. the ex comes to apologize and we eventually went home. i hate violence, but he really did piss me off, even more so when the other guy comes over to say something to me, i almost lost it at that point. i have a bad temper apparently .

i'd venture to say a busted motor mount or a dead cylinder before a bad headgasket if your car is shaking.

2 of my cylinders aren't firing and my motor shakes like a mofo! Got spark, fuel, and air... I think its a bad HG... Time for a new one. My dad wants me to pay someone to do it and i just checked with Nissan and they said $1,000 BEFORE tax. Lick my tan balls you SOB's!

just hope there isn't any warpage. if you have the tools and can dedicate a day to it, you should be able to handle that yourself. if not, go to a smaller, private garage, their rates tend to be more reasonable.

I've done it several times and can pull it off in less than 4 hours... You shouldn't need more time than that. But like I said, MY DAD, wants me to have it done "professionally"

Edit: Oh, and if there is any warpage, I have a spare DE motor I can pull a head off of.

Nope. If its shaking violently, then its going to be your #1 or #4 cylinder. Most likely the injector has gone bad/clogged or you need to jiggle the wire going to it :/

datte quote: Unplug each injector while the car is idling and see which one does not affect the way the motor runs. That's your injector that has the problem.

yeah did that and the #3 was the one that didn't do anything when unplugged...

i'm too sick today... i'm gonna lay down in the conference room for a while.
