Little buddy...ok no...lol. s*** I need to fix my gauges. They keep flickering on and off and while driving, it's very hazardous because the speedo goes off. Is it possible to remove the gauges without taking off the whole dash? Unless this is a different problem and not a loose connection...

If you drop the steering column and the underdash I think you can pull it out that way. I dont remember, the only time I took my cluster out was when I did remove the whole dash.

Is there any way I can access the wires that way? It's probably just a loose connection.

The connections to the cluster are on the back of the IP, so you will have to pull it out in order to reach it. Once you get the cluster exposed like that its only a couple more screws to get the cluster out so it wont be much more work.

Yes, remove the underdash, but it's different than he said:

Next, remove the steering wheel (mark the center position with a line connecting the spindle and the stud or you'll be sorry later ) then drop the column all the way to the ground (4 bolts). Then you have to remove the buttons from the surrounding plastic thing around the steering tunnel and remove the plastic thing. Two screws are up above the speedo, another couple are around it.

It takes about 1.5 hours if you are new to it.
