So Sears has screwed me out of my engine splash guard. A ~$300 piece.
I went in for an oil change, since I don't have a place I can do it myself and it was raining at the time. Originally they tore it to get to the oil filter, not bothering to notice the screws on how to remove it. I didn't notice it until 4 days after the work, when my friend asked me what was underneath my car. I look to see and I see the damage. In several places it's hanging about an inch off the ground. Well by the discovery time, Sears was already closed, so I decide to talk with them 1st thing in the morning.
Later that evening, after hours of gameplay on GOW2, I decide to go for a bite to eat. I forget about the damage and drive out to the next town over. On my way there, I didn't notice the road debris until it was too late. SMASH! There goes my splashguard.
I go back to Sears, and tell them that they've removed my splashguard and never put it back. They denied that they removed it, which is true, but they did damage it to where it was ripped off. They are going to replace it, but with a used piece.
WTF? A used piece? WTF are they going to get a used piece? Some poor sap that doesn't know they had a splash guard in the first place? Anyway, this happend a week after my birthday, and it's suppose to be replaced by now. f***ing Sears.
