i'm supposed to be ice fishing right now, but the tenants' furnace went down for the second time this week, so i get to experience the pleasure of attempting to fix it since the service guys apparently don't work weekends

Mornin!

That thermostat was a *****. f**king thing is right under the PS pump on the KA-E. I had to take off the fan, snorkel, and fan shroud before even getting a good look at the thermostat housing. I almost lost the fan nut washers on a few separate occasions. I did get it done though, so that's good. It actually only took me 2 hours, which was a surprise with all the **** I had to do and the complete lack of tools (I did it all with only a 10mm wrench, 10mm swivel socket, ratchet, and adjustable wrench on me). Luckily I had "borrowed" a gallon of coolant from my old work because I used almost all of it.

So the car definitely warms up quicker, but I still dont have the greatest heat, so I pretty much did that all for nothing. I guess the heater core is clogged.

Sucker, I can change the thermostat on my KA-E in like 10 min. Not having a fan or fan shroud helps speed things up. All I have to do is pop the intake off.

Haha, I'm very tempted to throw an e-fan on soon. It was such a PITA to do all of that for just a thermostat.

I think that since it's supposed to be 70 degrees outside tomorrow, I'm going to replace the brakes on my 240.. that'll teach the weather to get cold outside.. bwahahahahaha!

Eh, I wouldnt feel safe running no fan unless I wasnt using a thermostat as well. The car is warming up pretty quickly now, I wouldnt want to risk overheating.

James, sorry to see you will have problems with sex now. I assume that's the hand that holds the magnifying glass?

Are they large breasts, or kind of petite? What kind of shape are we looking at here?

I'm making a toasted chicken sammich. Grilled chicken strips on a hoagie bun broiled in the oven with provolone cheese and bacon covered with bbq sauce and ranch.

Mmmmm, can't wait till it's done.
