I went out and put 100 rounds through my XD last month...it was bad.

I was flinching horribly, I was almost embarassed.

I need to hit up Ben Avery shooting range pretty soon. I've been itching to take .300 winmag out and pop some off from a mile away.

I feel the need to buy a bunch of cheap chinese 7.62x39 and go nuts with the SKS. At a range, of course.

I used to shoot prarie dogs with my ex's dad. It was so awesome to sit there, toss back beer after beer, pluck off a few, see how many you could kill with the same bullet, then when you're done "clean up" by putting them back down the hole.

It's actually my dad's so I'm not sure exactly what the vintage is, but it's an older Russian one and not one of the crappier stamped ones.

I still don't own any guns of my own because I can't justify spending the money for the ones I want. My dad has a fairly nice collection that I get to shoot though.

the Norinco, Yugo and Romanian aren't bad guns buy any stretch, but they're just not as well put together as the Russians.

I however did something retarded and left mine by an ac register over the summer and it now has some surface rust.

I think I'm gonna get it refinished, despite that it'll take a knock for collecting...I don't plan on ever selling it anyway.

it's gonna get hard chromed or have a cerakote in a nickel like finish.

and a Tapco T6 stock with a red dot soon to follow.

awww yeah.

dunno about the vertical foregrip, but the rest, yeaaaaahhh...

I need to get some of the tapco 20 round poly mags as they're the best on the market and about 20 bucks a pop.

actually, I'm gonna go order 5 of them right now before they're impossible to find.
