no i know what you mean I see alot of those people come in for about a week every two months and think they are the badest thing on the planet. when I say two years, that is the training for a fight I should be having in six months. You generally want to train about 2 years before your first big fight. I have been doing martial arts all my life and now I am finally getting to teach it. I am really serious about this stuff. comeon, I am waking up at three am to work so i can train EVERY night

funny story about youtube fame. i was at the garage one saturday with my roomie. he needed to change his oil so i told him to come down with breakfast since there was an open lift. anywho, we're in the waiting room watching tv when this older (60's?) lady comes in. she seems burnt out from many years of drugs. after a short rapport, i tell her that there are no mechanics on duty to help her with whatever problem she had with her car. she asks us if we wanted to see her car. i wanted to humor her, so i oblige and we follow her out. she was driving some 80's olds or something, that she hand painted (with household paint, mind you) everywhere. dash, door panels, wheels, bumpers, fenders, you name it, it was painted. then she invites us to the local high school for a dance that her and her senior citizen buddies were hosting where she was performing the hop. she called herself "the queen of the hop" and goes on and on about how she was going to be famous through youtube and to keep looking out for her on there. i almost laughed in her face. it was even harder to keep control since she was facing me while my roomie is behind her silently laughing his *** off. finally i was able to politely dismiss myself and promptly went back in to release all the pent up lulz.

from the few places i've been it's usually retards acting like billy badass and wanting to know how soon they can fight.

if my instructor thinks I'm ready, then I'd think I'm ready.

it's cool, everyone likes what they like. the only thing that annoys the hell out of me in boxing is the need for 8000 weight classes. oh my, you gained 4 pounds, time to bump you up a class. speaking of fluffy gloves, margarito had to have his hands re-wrapped this last bout because they used something to the likes of plaster of paris. jsut because you can't hit hard, doesn't mean you have to cheat a-hole.
