I have a picture of the Maxima's odometer reading 222222.KV was at post 6666 a short while ago. I was going to point it out but forgot.

I'm seriously considering it. With the Max's keyless entry, I could lock the doors with the car running, so at least in the mornings I could let it warm up and feel safe about it.I need to make sure I find a GOOD installer, though. There's a pretty well-respected auto electronics shop in SLC that I could go to.

Even the really bad ones don't ruin the shift, but it's the social life that takes a big hit. Made even worse if you don't get weekends off.
Oh, yeah, weekeds are definitely a big part of the equation. My boss tried to get me to change a couple nights of my schedule a couple years back when they were having trouble hiring for weekend graves. I said NO. Having friday and saturday nights off is the only way to do it.

I LOVE the Q's sunroof. During the summer, I hardly ever close it (while driving, that is).
krimsonviper wrote:I think I remember you talking about going back to school, what's up with that?
Nothing in the "realistic" future. The cost of school combined with my experience with school really don't add up to a desire to go back. I NEED to go back, and I know it. Plus I WANT to learn. But school sucks SO MUCH, and paying for that is just...almost inconceivable. Eventually I'll have to go back, but it's going to require a lot of effort and change...so that's a lot of stuff I really want to avoid. I'm going to have to man up about it eventually, but that's in the nebulous future right now.
krimsonviper wrote:Actually forget that I asked about the school, what's up with that girl you were asking about?
Nothing yet. Friday conspired against me. I woke up late, forgetting it was my little brother's birthday (still didn't have a present), to my little bro calling me to tell me that everyone was going to eat at McGraths (great fish place if you don't have them out your way...amazing clam chowder and usually good calamari) in an hour. I RUSHED to the credit union (since I also had no cash to buy a present and no gas to get to the restaurant). The place was PACKED. Liz (the girl) was there but really busy. She saw me come in, though, and shot me a smile. I smiled back, took another window, and left. She called "bye" after me as I left, though, so I'm more convinced I need to ask her out. I would have hung around and waited for things to calm down but at that point I had 20 minutes to buy a present, wrap it, get gas, and drive to my parents' place. My parents' place is only ~5 miles away but I live in DOWNTOWN Layton, where the mall is, and traffic is inexpressibly horrible that time of day (~4:30pm). It took me 25 minutes to get from the Toys-R-Us across from my credit union to my parents' place. At which point I got in my grandparents' Pathfinder and drove them BACK to a mile from my house at McGraths. Craziness, but good food, and my bro loved his present (Lego Technic Bulldozer). At least I know what day she works now, so I can go in friday morning when it's not busy and FINALLY talk with her.
