^ wanting to blow my brains out.

I just spent 8 hours with the same people in the same room. I have zero desire to go and have dinner with them 2 hours from now for another 3 hours, only to see them again tomorrow morning!

::bangs head on wall::

I want to eat junkfood really bad, but can't think of something REALLY satisifying that I want.

I actually have real get and do stuff kind of work to do. Today was a motherscrewer.

I go and ask the lobby guy to have all the 3rd floor doors unlocked so I can get in and log the data... THEN housekeeping comes behind them and locks all the doors. Then I go back downstairs and ask for them to re-unlock the doors and tell housekeeping to leave the doors alone.

Then housekeeping comes back and AGAIN locks the doors. I went downstairs and asked the manager if he really wants me to do my job or if I should just screw off somewhere for the rest of the week.

Then the guy said I'm overreacting and asked me to calm down. I told him to call my boss I'm done for the day...

Dave, chill. If it takes you longer to do the job, you're still getting paid. I know its hard to shrug off when you're trying your best to be efficent, but w/e let it be. If they want it to take longer, then screw 'em and don't put so much effort at once into something that they're not willing to fix properly for you.

that sux but you do need to keep your head in those types of situations... plus didn't you just get this job not too long ago? i wouldn't be mouthin off to anyone yet. Good luck with it though, do they at least give you free breakfast there?

Yeah, but housekeeping knew about it and locked them anyway. Like we're being messed with for some reason...

Meh, no free breakfast at all, not even coffee. I don't get it really. That's why I told them to call my boss when they are serious about getting their stuff done.

3 day sales/expectation/year plan meeting. I had to get away. I'm skipping out on dinners all 3 days because I need my time alone really badly. I've been very easy to aggrevate this week. I've also been holding pretty tight to my gym visits. Probably because I can go there, do my lifting (or running, like today) and be left the f*** alone for an hour.

Dave, you may want to make a half hearted joke to the manager and/or your boss if this thing gets resolved in your favor. Or at least explain it calmly and rationally. I agree with Tina, don't do something silly to lose this job.

u must be under a lot of stress lately cause you normally seem pretty easy goin. the gym is a great way to let off some of that aggression! Keep your head up, three days n' you'll be back to normal again!

Dave, gl with the situation, just remember it's always easier to laugh at the situation no matter what.

i just found out that my insurance might not cover all the cost of an accident i had last year... i might be payin LOTS.

all i can do to keep from crying is laugh.

well I bet if and when I get into your conference room, you're more than likely gonna try to get me to crack up.

But, I'll take you out afterwords for some strippers instead of dinner

Yeah long day, a lot of morons on the roads today too. Wasn't in the mood at all. Some idiot parked so close to me when I stopped for lunch that I had to get into my car through the passenger seat

You know what you should do in situations like that? Move your car to the other side of theirs. Park so close its not possible to get in. Then sit somewhere inconspicuous until they come out. Record their license plate, if they do anything to your car, call the cops, if not just watch and laugh while they struggle.

People seem to park to close to me even when I park away as far as possible. Next time that happens and I have my kid with me. I'm gonna have him take a dump on their hood.

Now that is an idea.

Just another reason to keep a freezer bag full of dog poop in the trunk.
